Billing & cancellation

The design in one line: you evaluate Greenwick free, before any card exists — so billing afterwards is deliberately simple, and final.

1. Try before you pay

Every install starts with a free trial of the complete feature set — currently 14 U.S. market days, no card required. The trial, on your broker's paper environment, is the evaluation window: everything you'd be paying for is testable, with nothing at stake, before your first dollar.

2. Subscriptions and renewal

Greenwick's tiers are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we change a price, you'll get advance notice and the change applies from your next renewal; promotional pricing you locked in (for example the founders' offer: the first 100 Greenwick Sentinel subscribers keep $99/month for their first 24 months) is honored per its stated terms.

3. Cancel anytime

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: billing stops, and your tier stays fully active until that date. Cancel from the billing portal linked in the app's license panel, or just email support@greenwick.app from your purchase address and we'll confirm it same-day. No retention flows, no phone calls, no "are you sure" mazes.

4. Refunds

Because the free trial exists precisely so you can evaluate everything first, payments are not refundable. We will always make it right, promptly, for the honest exceptions: a billing error on our side, a duplicate charge, a renewal charged after you cancelled, or wherever applicable law grants you a refund right we can't (and wouldn't) contract away. If one of those happened to you, email us — you won't have to argue.

5. What lapsing actually means

When a subscription ends, Greenwick goes read-only for new activity — and that's all. Safety exits, reconciliation, and the STOP button stay fully live on any positions Greenwick opened, your data stays readable and exportable forever, and security updates keep installing. We don't hold your open risk — or your own history — hostage to a renewal.

6. Taxes

Prices are in USD. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it's calculated at checkout and itemized on your receipt.

7. Questions first, always

If anything on a charge looks wrong, email support@greenwick.app before disputing with your card issuer — we resolve billing questions fast, and a two-minute email beats a two-week chargeback for everyone.
