Privacy policy

The short version: Greenwick is local-first. Your broker keys, AI keys, trades, journal, and chats live on your Mac and are never sent to us — we couldn't sell or lose what we never hold. This policy lists the small set of things we do process, exactly.

1. Who we are

Prompt One LLC makes Greenwick and operates greenwick.app. For anything in this policy: support@greenwick.app.

2. What this website collects

• Beta waitlist form — if you submit it: your name, email, and the answers you choose to give (trading experience, instruments, computer platform, AI preference, features of interest, optional notes). We use these solely to run the beta program and to contact you about Greenwick. One email to us removes you and your answers.
• Abuse prevention — the waitlist endpoint keeps a salted, truncated hash derived from the submitting IP address (which cannot be reversed to the address) briefly, to rate-limit spam.
• Nothing else. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising scripts. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard web requests to serve the site, as any host does.

3. What the app sends us

• License validation — your license key and an install identifier, so your copy can confirm it's active. Our license records hold the key (hashed), its tier and status, and the purchase email associated with it.
• Update checks — the app fetches a signed update manifest from our update host; like any web request, this exposes standard connection metadata to the server.
• Nothing else — and no telemetry. There is no usage analytics, no crash uploading, no behavioral tracking in the app. If that ever changes, it will be opt-in and this policy will say so first.

4. What the app never sends us

Your brokerage and AI API keys (kept in your operating system's keychain), your positions, orders, and trading history, your journal, lessons, and chats, your watchlists and settings — all of it stays on your machine. The calls the app makes to your broker, your AI provider, or your data vendor go directly from your Mac to them, under your own accounts and their privacy policies; we are not in that path.

5. Payments

When public checkout opens, purchases will be processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive what a merchant needs to fulfill the purchase — the product bought, the amount, and your purchase email. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's own privacy policy.

6. How long we keep things

Waitlist entries: until the beta program and launch cycle they exist for is over, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first. License and purchase records: while your license exists, plus what tax and accounting law requires. Rate-limit hashes: hours, not days.

7. Sharing

We don't sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone for marketing — full stop. Data is disclosed only to the processors named here doing their jobs (Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payments), or if the law genuinely compels it.

8. Your rights

Email us and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (deleting license records for an active license means giving up the license). Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights; we honor reasonable requests regardless of geography.

9. Children

Greenwick is trading software and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll say so on this page and, for anything significant, in the app or by email — with the "last updated" date above kept current.
